How to play

Blackjack is one of the most common online casino games played. All you need to know in a game of blackjack is to get a total of 21 in your cards or close to it without exceeding 21. The cards are worth the equivalent of its value, the face cards are worth 10 and aces are worth 1 or 11 (depending on your hand).

-Place your bets. The denominations range from $1 – $100
-Click the ‘Deal’ option, where you are dealt with two cards face up and the house is dealt with two cards, one face up and the other down.
-If you need to increase your total then press ‘Hit’, where you are dealt one more card. Else ‘stand’ to stay at the total you’ve received.
-After this the winnings are determined. The person with a total of 21 or close wins and the bets are automatically credited.
-The ‘Rebet’ option places the same amount again for a new game.

For example, if the dealer has a 5-5 start with a high probability of getting to 21 as there are still many cards in the deck of 10 points. You can stand on a 16 or 17 to prevent the risk of exceeding 21. The main aim is to compare your cards with the dealer.

Players also have the option of making a “double down”, take a card to double your bet, or “split”, to use two cards of equal value to create two new hands of blackjack. You can also pay an “insurance” if the card is an Ace, where you get an amount equal to the bet.

Rules of Blackjack

The objective of Blackjack or Twenty-One (21) is to achieve a higher hand than the dealer’s without exceeding 21 points. Values of the cards:

- An Ace can be worth 1 or 11.

“Stand” – a player who holds his hand and do not want to accept anymore cards.
“Double down” – when a player has two hands he can use the “double down” to double his bet.
“Splitting pairs” – if a player gets a pair he can separate both cards so as to play two hands. When the pair is split, he can place a bet on both hands.
“Insurance” – if the dealer has an Ace the choice of insurance allows the player to bet up to half his original bet against the dealer’s hand.
